EF #28: Songs That Make Me..

Honestly, I never try to understand the lyrics everytime I listen to a song. I decide to listen to a song based on the melody. If it satisfy my ears, I’ll listen and sing along. So, when I read the EF challenge this week, I was confused. I had limited time to write before weekdays start. After thinking for two days...I still don’t know what to write, hahah..

Okay, take a deep breath..

Yes, I’m thinking of something. I will mention some songs in different categories, instead of talking about a song. The point of this challenge is practicing relative pronoun, right?

The song that make me feel want to dance is Love on Top by Beyonce (I used to watch the video everyday to learn the dance move until my internet quota ran out)

The song that make I always listen recently is Happy by Pharrel Williams (I got a funny video with cats singing and dancing with this song and my son loves it very much. He plays that everyday!)

The only song that I was able to play with guitar was Luka Lama by Cokelat (When I was in high school, I learned to play this song for days and got tired after I succeed. I am not into playing guitar)

Songs that (according to my father) I always sing everytime I came home from school were Christina Aguilera’s songs. (I had the pirated vcd of her video clips. I watched it, danced, and sang. Never got bored. It was when I was a 9th grader)

The song that makes me feel so energized is Flight of The Bumble Bee by Maxim. (Looking at his fingers playing the piano really fast makes me soooo amazed!)

From the list above, I can conclude that every song brings memories. I still love to sing and remember the time when I used to listen a lot to that song. Still, I don’t pay attention to what the songs are about. I only relate the songs as melodies and memories J

  1. It's true that particular songs can bring particular memories too. My brother said that J-Lo's "Let's Get Loud" reminded him of his junior high orientation week, because at that time that song was played very frequently in tv. While for me, Naif's "Posesif" reminded me of my campus orientation time (the mean seniors liked to play this song "..mengapa.... aku begini..." while we're doing push ups or else T_T )

Btw, I am surprised that bukenip likes dancing! *i like beyonce's love on top too :P
